The President was accompanied by Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, Metropolitan Tikhon of Simferopol and Crimea, Presidential Aide Vladimir Medinsky, Head of the Federal Archive Agency Andrei Artizov, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, and Head of the Talent and Success Foundation Yelena Shmeleva.
The President toured the Great Victory: Russia – My History historical and documentary exposition. He also visited the Christian Mercy Foundation stand. The charity organisation provides humanitarian aid to the Russian Armed Forces, residents of the DPR, the LPR, the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, and the border regions.
Vladimir Putin was also shown the icon and relics of Saint Luke the Confessor (Voino-Yasenetsky) that were delivered from the Holy Trinity Convent in Simferopol.

The Orthodox Russia: National Unity Day exhibition is running from November 4 to December 8. It was organised by the Patriarchal Council for Culture, the Federal Archive Agency and the National Archives with the support from the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Education, the Moscow City Government, the State Russian Museum, and the My History Foundation for Humanities. The Great Victory: Russia – My History exhibition features over 700 exhibits, including the authentic Victory Banner.
