The message reads, in part:
“Today, we are launching a new season of the Garden of Memory international campaign, which once again brings people together around this important environmental and patriotic initiative, popular both across many regions of our country and far beyond. Each year, in memory of the heroes who fell during the Great Patriotic War and the special military operation, people of all professions and ages – schoolchildren, students, and volunteers – plant millions of young trees in parks, squares, alleys, and gardens, striving to improve their hometowns and villages.
I am confident that such large and meaningful initiatives help preserve the continuity of generations, foster strong spiritual and moral values, a deep sense of patriotism and civic consciousness in young people, and, of course, contribute to addressing important environmental challenges.”
