The message reads, in part:
“This meeting, which has brought together leading practicing physicians, distinguished scientists, specialists, and experts in Moscow, coincides with a significant milestone – the 70th anniversary of the Centre for Cardiovascular Surgery. Established in 1956, the centre has grown into one of the largest and most respected specialised medical institutions, pioneering advanced scientific developments and effective methods of diagnosis, prevention, and treatment. Equally important is its enduring commitment to training highly qualified medical professionals.
The centre’s history is inseparably linked with the names of Alexander Bakulev and many other outstanding surgeons, eminent researchers, gifted educators and organisers, and dedicated healthcare professionals. I am confident that the Annual Scientific Session and the All-Russian Conference of Young Scientists will help preserve and further develop this rich professional, research, and educational legacy, while contributing to the continued advancement of cardiac surgery in Russia and beyond.”
