Education Minister Sergei Kravtsov Kravtsov Sergei Kravtsov SergeiMinister of Education of the Russian Federation , who joined the event via video link from the village of Bairamaul in Daghestan, reported that, at the President’s instruction, more than 1,700 new schools have been built across Russia in recent years, providing over one million new places for students. All schools are equipped with swimming pools, gyms, and modern laboratories. In addition, more than 7,000 schools have undergone major renovations.

During the ceremony, new educational facilities were opened in the village of Bairamaul in Daghestan, the city of Cherkessk in Karachayevo-Circassia, the village of Bokino in the Tambov Region, Ufa in the Republic of Bashkortostan, and Moscow.
