The message reads, in part:
“This large-scale project consistently uncovers new talent and enables young performers to showcase their abilities to the full, reach new professional and creative heights and receive the support of renowned masters and experienced mentors.
I would note that art and music play an important unifying role and form an integral part of our national identity and unique character. I am confident that the extensive programme of this year’s Festival, taking place in the Year of the Unity of the Peoples of Russia, will serve the ideals of enlightenment, the preservation of our cultural heritage, the upholding and enhancement of the traditions of charity and patronage, and the promotion of the values of friendship and mutual respect.
I wish the organisers of the Festival – the Vladimir Spivakov Charitable Foundation – every success in their dedicated work. I also wish the participants and guests of the forthcoming concerts, meetings and master classes inspiration and the warmest and most unforgettable impressions.”
