The President issued these instructions during a meeting with First Deputy Emergency Situations Minister Ruslan Tsalikov, who briefed him on the rescue operations underway in the Sea of Okhotsk. Mr Tsalikov said that 14 members of the rig’s crew had been rescued and the rescue operation continues, but it is being hampered by poor weather conditions.
