Vladimir Putin also emphasized that a lack of bank infrastructure and the banks' low level of participation in the economic and social spheres slows down the development of Russian regions. Following the meeting, a series of orders with respect to improving legislation in the banking sector, efficiency, appeal for investors and transparency was prepared.
