President Vladimir Putin visited the new Cathedral of Christ the Saviour 2006-09-10 14:30:24 Kaliningrad Mr Putin said he was sure that the cathedral would become not just a centre of Orthodox Christianity in Kaliningrad and the Kaliningrad Region, but also a spiritual centre that would promote friendship and understanding throughout the Baltic region in Europe.
