Greetings to XXII Alye Parusa International Children’s Film Festival 2014-07-05 17:00:00 Vladimir Putin sent a message of greeting to participants, organisers and guests of the XXII Alye Parusa (Scarlet Sails) International Children’s Film Festival. The message reads, in part: “For over 20 years your festival, held on the hospitable grounds of Artek, has been giving children a wonderful opportunity to experience the exciting atmosphere of cinema and offering them a unique chance to meet their favourite actors and directors and to take part in master-classes and even visit Russian naval vessels in Sevastopol. It is important that, by tradition, young audiences see not only the latest film productions, but also cinema, documentary and sci-fi classics.” The XXII Alye Parusa (Scarlet Sails) International Children’s Film Festival is held at the Artek international children’s centre in Crimea.
