Furthermore, the amendments discard an earlier stipulation allowing a denial of formal registration of branches or representative offices of international non-profit non-governmental organisations on the grounds of assumption that their purposes and goals may pose a threat to the national integrity, identity, or cultural heritage of the Russian Federation.
