Defence Minister Anatoly Serdyukov briefed President Medvedev on the progress of the investigation into the hijacking of the Arctic Sea cargo ship 2009-08-20 14:15:42 Minister Serdyukov reported that the cargo ship is currently being transported to Novorossiysk [a Russian port on the Black Sea] where further investigations will be conducted. 11 of the 15 crew members arrived in Moscow. The others remained on board the Arctic Sea to perform service duties. Eight suspected hijackers also landed in Moscow and were handed over to the Investigative Committee of the Prosecutor General's Office.
