Meeting with participants of 19th World Festival of Youth and Students 2017-10-19 22:30:00 Sochi Following a meeting of the Valdai Discussion Club, Vladimir Putin went to a café in Sochi’s Olympic Park to meet with festival participants. The President asked the young people about their impressions of the festival and answered their questions about foreign policy and Russia’s bilateral cooperation with other countries. The meeting was attended by young people from Brazil, Croatia, Mozambique and Serbia. “We expected young people from all over the world to attend this festival, where they can communicate with each other and develop direct ties, and take back home good impressions of Russia, where they met all those people,” Vladimir Putin said. The President expressed hope that the young people would come to Russia again, while the students invited him to attend the festival’s closing ceremony.
