The message reads, in part: “Over the five years since its establishment, the Council has become a much-needed platform for professional discussions of current issues related to the prevention of money laundering, financing terrorism and proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, as well as for finding the best and most effective solutions to regional and international security issues. Thanks to your proactive position, the Council has produced positive results and has earned well-deserved respect. At the same time, it provides conditions for the further improvement of cooperation between our countries with due regard for national and regional interests. I am confident that efforts to build up cooperation and to promote interaction in the sphere of information and administration will have a positive effect on our ability to promptly respond to modern threats and challenges and to achieve our goals.”
