On March 16, Vladimir Putin will take part in the annual Congress of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) and will separately meet with members of the RSPP bureau.
The RSPP Congress is the final event following the traditional Russian Business Week forums, where participants approve a consolidated approach for business and government. The following topics will be at the top of this year's agenda: import substitution and development of Russian industry in the context of sanctions, the country's technological sovereignty, investment promotion, training of highly qualified personnel and measures of state support for business.
About 1,000 delegates and guests are expected to participate, including major entrepreneurs, representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, members of the Government, and heads of ministries and government agencies.

On the same day, the President will have a meeting with Government members, via videoconference, on the implementation of certain provisions of the recent Address to the Federal Assembly and the progress of work to meet strategic development goals.
Speakers on various social and economic issues will include First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov, Deputy Prime Ministers Tatyana Golikova and Marat Khusnullin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, Minister of Finance Anton Siluanov and Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region, Head of the State Council Commission on Economics and Finance Alexei Teksler.
