On April 27, Vladimir Putin, together with President of the Republic of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan, will take part in a videoconference ceremony to mark the delivery of Russian-made nuclear fuel to Unit 1 of the Akkuyu NPP in Turkiye.
The construction of the plant is being carried out by the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom on the basis of an intergovernmental agreement signed in 2010. The power plant will have four power units with a total capacity of 4,800 megawatts.
