On the day marking the 84th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, the Russian leader will take part in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and will also lay flowers at the memorials honoring the Hero Cities and the Cities of Military Glory.
In addition, the President will meet on that day with editors of the federal lineup of history textbooks for grades 5 to 11 of secondary school as well as vocational schools.
The meeting will serve to discuss the results of the work done so far and examine the prospects of establishing new curricula to be subsequently introduced in schools.
