The President will make a speech at the Small Business as a National Project forum on October 23 2018-10-22 15:05:00 Vladimir Putin will make a speech at a plenary session of the All-Russia Non-Governmental Organisation of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses OPORA Russia’s Small Business as a National Project annual forum to be held at VDNKh. Apart from the President, participants in the forum’s plenary session and business programme will include a number of ministers and heads of various agencies and financial organisations: First Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, Prosecutor General Yury Chaika, Governor of the Central Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina, Head of the Federal Taxation Service Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the State Corporation Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank) Igor Shuvalov, General Director of the Federal Corporation for Developing Small and Medium Business (SME Corporation) Alexander Braverman, and many others. Before the plenary session, experts, officials and business representatives will participate in roundtable discussions on mechanisms for carrying out the national project regarding the development of small and medium-sized businesses. * * * Prior to addressing the forum, the President will inspect the technical workshops of Moscow’s Technograd recreational and educational complex, which opened at VDNKh in September, 2018. This complex is aimed at educating children aged 11 and older, and providing further education and training for adults and students. Various master classes and courses on digital and creative technologies, urban infrastructure and industrial vocational and service fields provide citizens with the opportunity to train in 42 professions that are in greatest demand in the city.
