Navy Day

is a holiday established in 1939 and celebrated in Russia on the last Sunday in July.

In 2006, an executive order by the President of Russia awarded to Navy Day the status of a memorial day of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

Navy Day is celebrated with military parades and military sports competitions.
