is currently under construction. It is intended for supplying crude oil to the Russia’s Far East and for exporting it to the Asia-Pacific region markets. The pipeline will be technologically linked to the existing transfer pipelines operated by Oil Transporting Joint Stock Company Transneft thus composing an integrated network ensuring online oil flow distribution throughout Russian territory in the eastern and western direction.
The ESPO’s projected capacity is 80 million tonnes of oil per annum and its overall length will exceed 4,770 kilometres with the endpoint at the newly built specialised maritime oil terminal in Kozmino Bay in Primorye Territory.
The oil for the ESPO will be primarily supplied from the fields of Tomsk Region and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area in Western Siberia.
