Vladimir Putin took part in the 21st St Petersburg International Economic Forum. On the forum’s sidelines, he had meetings with Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, Indian business community representatives, the heads of international information agencies, members of the RDIF International Advisory Board and representatives of the international investment community, Russian and US business representatives, and the heads of major foreign companies and business associations.
The President also met with Head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister-President of Bavaria Horst Seehofer, President of Moldova Igor Dodon, President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik, Prime Minister of the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government Nechirvan Barzani, Director General of the IAEA Yukiya Amano, Federal Chancellor of Austria Christian Kern, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, and German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel.
Mr Putin also presented a National Award to Daniil Granin, took part in a naming ceremony for the tanker Christophe de Margerie, and visited a new concert hall in the village of Repino.
