Before the working breakfast, Vladimir Putin and President Xi Jinping visited an exhibition on the history of Beijing Friendship Hotel.
During the talks in Beijing, Vladimir Putin presented Xi Jinping with a 1956 Russian-Chinese Cooperation poster by artist Isaac Grinshtein.
During the talks, President Xi Jinping presented Vladimir Putin with a silverware set from the Beijing Friendship Hotel and a ceramic figurine Legendary Horse on the Silk Road, a copy of the original piece at the National Museum of China in Beijing.

Working visit to China

Vladimir Putin took part in the events of the Second Belt and Road International Forum. After that the Russian President held talks with President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping. Also, the President of Russia received anhonorary doctorate from Tsinghua University, one of China’s leading universities.

On the following day Vladimir Putin took part in the first session of the round table discussion at the International Belt and Road Forum. After the round table the President answered journalists’ questions.

As part of his working visit to China the Russian President also had a number of bilateral meetings with heads of state who attended the forum.
