Heads of several federal executive agencies, supreme judicial bodies, the Russian Federation’s Accounts Chamber and the Presidential Executive Office were involved in the work of the Commission.
The meeting addressed issues of having Russian government experts assess Lithuania and Niger’s implementation of the UN Convention against Corruption, as well as ways for the Russian Federation to participate in the creation of an electronic judicial UN library on countering corruption.
The Commission examined possible areas for Russia’s practical cooperation with experts of the World Bank Group and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime on the Stolen Asset Recovery (StAR) Initiative.
In addition, the Commission specifically discussed issues of arranging for Russia’s implementation of the G20 Anti-Corruption Plan of Action.
