The message reads, in part:
“Over the past years our countries have achieved tangible results in strengthening the strategic partnership based on principles of alliance and mutual respect and trust. We are ready to continue our joint efforts to build up the political, trade and cultural ties between our nations, and to implement the existing agreements in priority areas.
I am confident that the deepening of cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan, both in the bilateral format and within integration unions, is in the interests of our nations’ socioeconomic development, and effectively contributes to addressing pressing regional challenges to peace and security in Central Asia.”
