The hospital in the village of Lapino in the Moscow Region was opened in 2012 as a multipurpose medical facility offering inpatient and outpatient care for children and adults. The hospital belongs to the Mat i Ditya clinic chain, the Russian market leader among private healthcare providers for women and children.
Mr Putin will chair a meeting in Moscow of the Council for the Implementation of National Priority Projects and Demographic Policy.
The meeting will discuss further work on implementing demographic policy in the country and will also review the preliminary results of implementing the Demographic Policy through to 2025, which was approved in 2007 and is a priority national healthcare sector project, as well as the Childbirth Certificate programme.
Deputy Prime Ministers Arkady Dvorkovich and Olga Golodets, relevant ministers, a number of regional governors, members of the Civic Chamber, and representatives of public organisations and foundations will take part in the meeting. The key speaker will be Labour and Social Protection Minister Maxim Topilin.
