Vladimir Putin signed an order On holding the Year of Russian Culture in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Year of British Culture in the Russian Federation.

In the interest of further developing Russian-British relations, the President has ordered to hold the Year of Russian Culture in the United Kingdom and the Year of British Culture in the Russian Federation.

Relevant instructions have ben issued to the Russian Government.
