The Forum will gather in Moscow, and it is expected that over 1,000 people will take part in its work, including the co-chairs and heads of the Russian Popular Front executive committees, the President’s authorised representatives, members of the Government Cabinet, and representatives of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Russia’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry, OPORA RUSSIA and Business Russia business communities.
The forum will focus on the implementation of the presidential executive orders of May 2012 and the development of the Russian economy given the imposed sanctions. During the plenary session, which will be attended by the President, the participants will talk about the results of discussions held during the forum’s previous working days at five discussion platforms: “Quality of Everyday Life,” “Social Justice,” “Society and the State: A Direct Dialogue,” “Import Substitution and Technological Modernisation,” and “The Agriculture Sector: Careful Sanctions and Options for Growth.”
Before the plenary session, Vladimir Putin will visit the Made in Russia exhibition that showcases products from 60 Russian companies working in various sectors of the economy, emphasising companies whose products can be included in import substitution programmes.
