The message reads, in part:
“Over these years the Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia has by right acquired authority and recognition both in this country and abroad. Together with other Jewish organisations in Russia you are involved in important and highly needed educational and charitable activities, relentlessly focusing on educating the younger generation. You make full use of the existing opportunities to revive the religious, spiritual and cultural traditions of Jews in Russia. Your activity directed at countering any manifestations of antisemitism and xenophobia, at strengthening inter-ethnic and inter-religious dialogue and promoting the principles of mutual respect, good neighbourliness and religious tolerance deserve our sincere recognition.”
