The message reads, in part:
“In recent years, Russian-Guatemalan relations have been progressing dynamically: political dialogue has intensified and the legal basis of cooperation has been improving. Today, it is particularly important to achieve further results in the expansion of trade and economic ties, including through the promotion of direct contacts between the business communities of our countries.
I hope that under your leadership, Guatemala will continue the policy of strengthening the bilateral interstate relations in all areas and the development of close and effective cooperation in the international arena, especially within the UN. I am confident that together we can ensure the speediest implementation of joint projects for the benefit of our nations and in the interests of international stability and security.”
