The telegram reads, in part:
“Our intensive political dialogue at all levels is an important factor in the development of Russian-Uzbekistani relations. I warmly recall our conversations, which have always occurred in an atmosphere of trust and mutual understanding. I value our constructive exchange of opinions on current issues on the international agenda, as well as prospects for development of global political and economic processes.
I expect that the implementation of agreements we have reached will contribute to further developing mutually beneficial trade, economic, and investment cooperation, broadening traditionally close humanitarian ties, and deepening coordination within the framework of regional and international organisations.
I am certain that our common disposition toward strengthening our strategic partnership and allied relations meets the basic interests of our nations and our peoples, as well as the task of ensuring peace and security in Central Asia.”
