The Eastern Economic Forum was established by a Presidential Executive Order of May 2015. Its main goals include, among other, strengthening ties between the international investment community, Russian businesses, federal, regional and local bodies of power; comprehensive assessment of economic potential of the Far East and presentation of new conditions for investing and doing business in the region.

Vladimir Putin arrived in Vladivostok
In the capital of Primorye, the President will take part in the first Eastern Economic Forum and meet with oil and gas industry representatives. He will also meet with China’s Vice Premier Wang Yang who is taking part in Forum events.
