The parties continued to discuss the situation around Russia’s special military operation to protect Donbass. Naftali Bennett expressed a few considerations in this regard, taking into account his recent contacts with the leaders of several states.
Vladimir Putin outlined the principled position of the Russian side regarding the conditions for resolving the conflict, including the unconditional consideration of Russia's security interests, the demilitarisation and denazification of the Ukrainian state, ensuring its neutral and non-nuclear status, as well as the recognition of Russian sovereignty over Crimea and the independence of the Donetsk and Lugansk people's republics.
The leaders agreed to continue personal contacts.
