“Competitions such as this serve a lofty humanitarian goal and a noble cause of helping the families of personnel members who have died in the line of duty, while preserving the memory of fallen heroes and instilling the values of patriotism in young people.
I am certain that this spectacular tournament, which is already a prominent chapter of the judo yearbook, will continue to evolve, strengthening its traditions and promoting martial arts as well as a healthy lifestyle and fitness on the whole.”
