Accompanied by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the President reviewed the progress in the industrial zone construction. He visited a drone shop and looked at the industrial park model. The President was also taken to an exhibition of the manufacturers and operators of drone aviation systems.
Today, a drone aviation cluster – the Federal Centre for Drone Aviation Systems – is being built at the new Rudnyovo Industrial Park, the construction of which began in late 2020. By now, the construction of 18 industrial buildings with a total area of 120,000 square metres has been completed, including those designed for pilot-scale production, as well as a design office. The industrial site will accommodate the facilities of 17 companies, the majority of which will manufacture drones.
