The message reads, in part:
“For many years, HeliRussia has been rightfully considered one of the largest and most respected events in the field of helicopter technology, the leading platform for demonstrating the latest achievements in scientific, technical and engineering thought, advanced technology and services. The exhibition promotes the exchange of experience and professional skills and, despite the current difficult situation, serves as a centre for business communication between Russian and foreign experts.
Our country has always been known for its talented designers, researchers and innovators of production. Largely thanks to them, various types of helicopters were developed and introduced into serial production, including the legendary Mi-26, Mi-8, Ka-52, the new, modern Mi-38 and Ansat. And today, the teams of research institutes, design bureaus, industrial enterprises and specialised businesses work effectively, preserving and developing the remarkable traditions of the industry and responsibly solving the tasks set.
I am sure that your exhibition, taking place in the Decade of Science and Technology and in the year of the 100th anniversary of domestic civil aviation, will be held at a high level, will launch promising ideas and initiatives and outline priority areas for the sustainable development of the helicopter industry, manned and unmanned aviation.”
