Dmitry Medvedev signed an Executive Order posthumously awarding the title Hero of Russia to Colonel Yevgeny Chernyshev

Colonel Chernyshev, head of the Moscow fire department of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry, was killed on the night of March 20, while rescuing people from a blazing building. The President sent his condolences to Colonel Chernyshev’s family.
