The message reads, in part:
“It is gratifying to know that this unique and truly nationwide project is moving forward and gets filled with new initiatives and real deeds. Its noble mission unites thoughtful and caring people in Russia and far beyond its borders. You sincerely strive to do good for the Motherland, to contribute to the preservation of our military and historical memory, and to the patriotic education of the younger generation.
I am pleased to note the hard work that the volunteers of the movement are putting in important areas such as helping veterans, taking care of war grave sites and memorials, and holding international campaigns, such as Victory Letter, St George’s Ribbon, Garden of Memory, and Fiery Pictures of War. You are playing a significant part in organising large-scale solemn events dedicated to Victory Day – the Victory Parade and the Immortal Regiment march. And of course, the comprehensive support you provide to the participants of the special military operation and their families deserves the deepest recognition.”
