Ceremony to launch the construction of cultural facilities in Tajikistan
Vladimir Putin and Emomali Rahmon took part, via videoconference, in an official ceremony to launch the construction of an international educational centre for gifted children and a new building of the Vladimir Mayakovsky State Russian Drama Theatre.
During the videoconference, Vladimir Putin and Emomali Rahmon ordered workers to lay capsules in the cultural facilities’ foundations. The President of Russia thanked videoconference participants for their work and wished them every success.
Both projects are implemented as per an instruction by the presidents of Russia and Tajikistan and have great significance for the development of bilateral cultural cooperation and for expanding effective partnership between the countries.
