In accordance with the agreements reached by the two leaders during the recent Russian-Brazilian summit in Moscow, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva gave Dmitry Medvedev a detailed briefing on the results of his talks in Tehran regarding the Iran’s nuclear programme.
The President of Russia thanked President Lula da Silva for sharing this information and expressed a positive assessment of the joint efforts made by Brazil and Turkey toward a political resolution of the Iran’s nuclear issue, noting that Russia will use every opportunity to support the process of jointly searching for and developing a constructive solution acceptable to the international community.
Both sides noted that the new developments require consultations of the Iran Six group and all other interested parties.
