Prosecutor General Yury Chaika was instructed to work with units dealing with prevention of corruption and other crimes by personnel within government bodies, along with Russia’s Federal Taxation Service, to check whether the information submitted by public servants on their incomes and assets is complete and authentic.
Dmitry Medvedev gave instructions to pay particular attention to submission of such information by law enforcement agencies, military personnel, civil servants in healthcare and social protection, and individuals holding State posts at various levels.
Corresponding instructions were given to senior officials (heads of supreme executive state bodies) in Russia’s federal constituent entities, heads of federal executive bodies and other federal government agencies.
