Instructions to the Government of the Russian Federation concern, in part, developing programmes, together with civic higher education institutions, for training military personnel in science-driven areas and disciplines.
Instructions to the Defence Ministry concern, in part, preparing suggestions on improving the Russian military education system and working out a development programme for higher military academies through to 2020, while also ensuring the creationof joint infrastructure and training facilities, including equipping them withthe latest models of arms and military technology and simulators.
The Ministry has also been instructed to present suggestions on expanding geographical reach of cooperation in training military and military technical personnel, including increasing the number of foreign military specialists and military technical personnel training at higher military academies of Russia’s Defence Ministry on a free or preferential basis, including in professional development programmes.
