Mr Medvedev instructed Mr Trutnev to carry out a revision of laws on various types of expert evaluation reports.
Mr Medvedev said that the state must intervene only in serious cases and even go as far as to take tough measures in cases when dangerous industrial installations are involved. In the case of small businesses, expert evaluation reports are often conducted not in state interests but in the interests of individual civil servants. Mr Medvedev said that this practice needs to be dealt with once and for all in order to eliminate potential for corruption from regional laws.
