Instructions for the Government concern measures to reduce the number of traffic accident fatalities, preparation of the Accessible Environment state programme for 2016–2020, organisation of pre-school education and other matters concerning the care of pre-school children and additional educational opportunities for children at various educational organisations.
The Government was also instructed to make a comprehensive evaluation of the effectiveness of state development institutions’ work and present proposals for improving their performance.
Instructions issued jointly to the Government and the regional executive authorities concern subsidised provision of medicines for particular groups of the population, provision of medicines and medical goods through the state programme of free medical care, regional programmes for professional training and employment for young people with disabilities, and access to services in culture, education, healthcare and social services, especially for people living in rural areas and small towns.
The Accounts Chamber was instructed to draft a report on public access to social services, especially for people in remote and rural areas, and to present the findings at one of the President’s meetings with Government members.
