The Government of the Russian Federation has been instructed to develop in cooperation with relevant organisations and approve a roadmap for development through 2020 (with possible extension to 2030) of seaports in the Azov-Black Sea region and development of railroad and automotive approaches to these seaports. Special attention should be paid to developing seaport capacity in the Azov-Black Sea region and Crimean seaports, taking into account the commissioning of a transport corridor across the Kerch Strait.
Instructions to the Government also concern, in part, creating a dry-cargo area at the Taman seaport, increasing the approach infrastructure capacity and possibilities to accept high-capacity vessels at the port of Novorossiysk; construction, reconstruction and capital renovation of roads in the Crimean Federal District, improving the quality of services, making passenger transit across the Kerch ferry crossing more comfortable and convenient, and creating favourable conditions for accepting and servicing at Crimean airports of aircraft belonging to private owners, including foreign citizens.
