The Russian Government received instructions to inspect national insulin producers to verify appropriate production capacity, and compliance with production regulations and quality requirements. The Government has also been instructed to develop jointly with the Rostec state corporation measures to transfer the necessary technological solutions required to implement the project to create in Pushchino a full-cycle facility to produce insulin and its analogues. These measures are to become part of the State Programme for the Development of the Pharmaceutical and Medical Industry for 2013–2025.
Appropriate instructions were also issued to the Industry and Trade Ministry, Healthcare Ministry and Economic Development Ministry.
The state corporation Vnesheconombank, jointly with the Rostec state corporation, is to consider the possibility of opening a credit line for the implementation of the project to create in Pushchino a full-cycle complex for the production of insulin and its analogues.
