The Government and the Civic Chamber shall analyse the efficiency of legal mechanisms for the exercise and protection of public oversight subjects set by the Federal Law On the Basic Principles of Public Oversight in the Russian Federation and other legislative acts and, where necessary, propose amendments to enhance these mechanisms.
The Government has also been instructed to draft proposals for improving visa, customs, logistics and other procedures for Russian non-governmental and not-for-profit organisations engaged in humanitarian activity.
Joint instructions to the Presidential Executive Office, Ministry of Communications and Mass Media and the Civic Chamber deal with services to disseminate social advertising and improving access to these services for not-for-profit organisations with a social focus.
The Civic Chamber, along with the Presidential Human Rights Commissioner, have received recommendations to monitor legislation and the application of laws concerning children’s rights’ protection and strengthening traditional family values and to draft proposals for their improvement.
