The instructions to the Russian Government concern state programmes’ investment expenses for organising events in the Russian regions of the Far Eastern Federal District; childbirth support in the Far East; bringing electricity prices in line with the Russian average for certain groups of electricity consumers in the Far Eastern Federal District; long-term price regulation for electricity, natural gas and water for new projects implemented in the Far Eastern Federal District; state support from the federal budget to provide people with housing; construction of cargo-and-passenger vessels to establish regular service between the Kamchatka Peninsula, ports on Sakhalin, the Magadan Region, the Primorye Territory and the Kuril Islands; synchronisation of subsidy programmes for flights to/from Far Eastern airports with renovation of these airports’ infrastructure and an increase in their passenger capacity; construction of cross-border bridges over the Amur River near Blagoveshchensk – Heihe and Nizhneleninskoye – Tongjiang; development of port infrastructure for coal handling in the Far Eastern Federal District, including the implementation of the second stage of upgrading the Baikal-Amur Mainline and the Trans-Siberian Railway; subsidies for moving cars produced in the Far Eastern Federal District to other Russian regions; and achievement of socioeconomic development results higher than the average in every Russian region making up the Far Eastern Federal District.
Separate instructions were issued to the Government together with state bodies in the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District as well as the Finance Ministry and the Transport Ministry.
