The Government of the Russian Federation was instructed to review the situation in the fuel and energy complex of the Republic of Daghestan at a meeting of the Government Commission on the Socioeconomic Development of the North Caucasus Federal District.
The Government was also instructed to create an inventory of gas distribution networks and electricity grids within the Republic of Daghestan, including identifying ownerless power facilities and taking action to register property rights to these facilities.
Together with the Prosecutor General’s Office, the Government was instructed to take immediate action to identify, stop and prevent the stealing of gas, oil and petroleum products, as well as unsanctioned connections to distribution networks, illegal sales of petroleum products and trademark infringements in the Republic of Daghestan.
Instructions for the Federal Anti-Monopoly Service consist of ensuring that tariffs and fees on electricity, natural gas and heating in the Republic of Daghestan are economically justified.
