The Government of the Russian Federation was instructed to study the issue of additional state support measures for organisations developing medications, conducting clinical trials, manufacturing and marketing them. This should be done to prevent a shortage of medications due to the risk of foreign pharmaceutical companies exiting the Russian market or suspending their clinical research projects.
Instructions to the Government also include requirements concerning children’s recreation, health and wellness opportunities in specially protected federal nature territories, including tent camps for children and other temporary camps.
Several instructions deal with certain tax privileges for organisations acting as tour operators in the sphere of domestic and inbound tourism, as well as measures to develop tourism infrastructure as part of the national project Tourism and the Hospitality Industry.
Another instruction deals with state support measures aiming to facilitate high-speed maritime passenger traffic in the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea basin.
The Ministry of Healthcare and the Ministry of Industry and Trade were instructed to take action and stockpile the most essential medications needed by the healthcare system, including during a surge in acute respiratory viral infection cases.
Top officials in the Russian Federation’s regions are advised to provide safe access to specially protected federal nature territories during the planning of the construction, reconstruction and resurfacing of regional and inter-municipal motorways and while these works are underway, and to make these territories more accessible.
