The Government of the Russian Federation has been instructed to introduce amendments to the laws of the Russian Federation aimed at improving the legal status of teaching staff and regulating labour relations involving mentoring activity in various fields.
Instructions to the Government also concern additional social support measures for teachers working at educational institutions; the opening of the Artek International Children's Centre branches in 2023 – the children's centres Korsun (in Sevastopol) and Red Carnation (in Berdyansk, Zaporozhye Region); the financing of holding regional stages of the Russian national forum of class teachers in all federal districts and the Russian Forum of Mentors.
Instructions to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Ministry of Education have to do with organising child guidance at all levels of education.
The Ministry of Education, together with regional executive authorities and the VGTRK State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company, received instructions to help enhance the prestige of the teaching profession by creating a regional television projects as part of the Klassnaya Tema federal TV project (competition) and broadcasting relevant content on regional television and radio channels.
The Ministry of Culture, together with the Ministry of Education, has been instructed to submit proposals on the inclusion of stories aimed at boosting the prestige of the teaching profession in the state order for the creation of feature films, documentaries, animated films and public information films.
