The Government of the Russian Federation has been instructed to work on the issues and, if necessary, ensure the introduction of amendments to legislation regarding benefits for employer-sponsored training of professionals in Healthcare and Medical Sciences for people living in villages, workers’ settlements, urban-type settlements and towns with populations under 50,000 people, and also regarding regular specialist accreditation of medical and pharmaceutical workers and updating of basic principles for developing techniques to estimate the demand for medical personnel used in territorial programmes of state guarantee to deliver free medical care to the citizens.
Instructions to the Government of the Russian Federation, together with senior officials of the Russian regions, relate to the training of mid-level health professionals in the areas of medical organisations at the expense of regional budgets.
